Absolutely STUNNED when I visited the inside of this church... I mean look at this mosaic ceiling and columns! It’s very different from the other Christian churches I saw in other parts of Europe.

The church has a very sad origin though - a Tsar was assassinated here. The Tsar’s son ordered the building of a church on where his father’s blood was spilled, hence the name...
